In today’s Chicago Sun-Times, music critic Jim Derogatis called Tom Schraeder one of “10 new Chicago acts that should be heard from in 2008.”

In his words: “Hardworking, unassuming but wildly ambitious, this 23-year-old singer-songwriter is touring the States with a nine-piece band in support of his first self-released seven-song EP. The group is showing its range during its Monday “Practice Space” residency at Schubas this month, and clearly it’s just warming up.”
