Live Painting With Japanese Art Crew
This video, created by the Japanese art team Rinpa Eshidan, captures a live painting event in which different artists transform the same space one after another. Filmed over many hours and sped up with the use of stop motion, the resulting landscapes seem to flow together and come alive. Rinpa Eshidan is led by Noiz-Davi (Yoshiaki Kusunoki) and Daisuke Yamamoto, who believe that “the process of creation itself is where art comes to life” and their videos aim to engage the audience in that process.
