Four Eyed Monsters

by Dorothee | March 09, 2008

fem8.jpgIn 2005, Susan Buice and Arin Crumley debuted their independent film “Four Eyed Monsters” at Slamdance film festival but it wasn’t until they posted the entire film on YouTube in 2007 that it got major attention. The film roughly follows Buice and Crumley’s real life relationship; the couple initially communicated only through artistic means because Arin was too shy to introduce himself to Susan. Below is the entire film with an introduction by Buice and Crumley explaining that they were in credit card debt from making Four Eyed Monsters and the movie-themed social networking site Spout.com helped them raise $48,951 toward their goal of $100,000. Now for every person that joins Our Stage, the filmmakers receive one dollar. Starving young filmmakers take note!
